Time Out
Restaurant Reviews
Creative Writing | Food Critic
A couple of years ago, Time Out Lisbon was much more than the city's most famous food court. It was the go to for everything happening in Lisbon – trending nighclubs, top brunches, most amazing rooftops and, of course, best restaurants.
Under an alias, I wrote for the magazine as a mystery food critic. I’d visit the restaurants anonymously, and then destroy them (just kidding), and then review them.
It was a really sweet gig, which led me to some of Lisbon’s best kept secrets and some pretentious places to see and be seen (but not to eat). Hey, and I even got a, well, "facial massager" sent to me as gift by a (not so) pleased restaurant owner.
Pretty cool, right?
